Question about the lovely maternity chip eclipse au.

How would he react and or treat Dazzle? Considering that she's an actual child and actively acts like one

Would he treat her two bodies differently?(considering in her first body, she terrified lunar by accident-)

Mainly started this in the information1 post.

Eclipse doesn’t see any other children as his but he is more considerate to them. To other children he acts more like Sun but calmer and less energetic. So he’d just be that really chill yet protective babysitter.

He’d probably be a bit startled by Dazzle’s first body, but once he realizes her mind set, he’d care for her.

Wouldn’t be much different in her new form just less hesitation at first meeting.

“Only when death or sex is on the line.” Eclipse nearly choked on his inhale, the smoke filtering out through his back vents, “I wonder…which will you offer me, Eclipse?” Ruin said his name like it was a candy that he was rolling around on his tongue. 

“Don Kill Code wants it done messy. Wants to send a message. He’ll pay half upfront and the other half when you bring proof of a job well done.” He simply stated in answer to that, offering the strange animatronic a cigarette. 

Ruin’s grin widened, almost unnaturally, “Death it is, then. How delightful.”

[MOON POV]

Moon happily skipped through the positive fields of Sunny's mind. He was so going to hang out with Clipsy. He slowed down as he saw Clipsy sitting down near a campfire. It was always day in Sunny's mind, which is why Moon usually hid himself from th light with his hat.

"Hi Clipsy!" Moon said happily, running over and tackling him. "Oh, you knew I wouldn't kick you off." Clipsy said. He sounded a bit...solemn? That's what Moon thought. But the world was all sunshine and rainbows! There was so much good! Moon believed that everyone got along, and that there was no fighting. "Why do you seem sad? The world is wonderful!" Moon said happily, sitting next to Clipsy. Clipsy just blinked.

"Is that so." he said, his voice holding no trace of curiosity, just sarcasm. He looked at Moon, a deep seriousness in his eyes. Though Moon didn't know why. "We need to discuss something." Clipsy said. His voice was stern as he grabbed Moon, who was still latched onto him, and gently placed him down. Surprising for someone who seemed so closed off and serious. Moon stared at him. "Are you angry?" he asked sadly, feeling upset. Clipsy's gaze softened, and he pat Moon on the head.

"I've been thinking...and uh...I think I want my own body. I don't like...this one. It feels weird." Clipsy said. Moon just smiled. "I'll negotiate with Sunny!" Moon said happily, hugging him. Clipsy looked surprised. He slightly smiled, before patting Moon on the back. "Go, little rockstar..." he mumbled quietly. Moon left the mindscape. When he got back, he saw Sunny staring at him, disbelief on his face. "Did you seriously just tell Eclipse he might get a body? And NOT discuss it with me?" he asked. Moon nodded.

Sun just sighed, annoyed. Then, he gave Moon a bunch of toys to play with as he went back to work.

For the curious ones, the episode is called “Sun vs Eclipse in VRCHAT” — from a year ago!

I rewatch these episodes all the time, looking for lore…foreshadowing, details i missed, even to catch up on episodes I didn’t watch. This is honestly one of my personal favorite episodes, though I do have a list of favorites aside from this one that rank higher.

This episode gave me chills. Sun wasn’t playing.

I do find it odd how out of all the episodes where internal thoughts were recorded, it was THIS episode, and it was ECLIPSE’S. AND OH MY STARS, HE WAS /FREAKING OUT./
